Things that make you say
"Wow That's Cool!"
My Photography
After high school, I went to a tech school for professional photography. I have an excellent eye for composition and a keen sense of timing for a relativity itchy shutter finger. I have selected a few to share with you, once again, based on the Wow factor.

Here are some of the pictures I have taken:

I call this one "Hidden Jewel" 2007

Taken with a digital camera and modified with photo shop to look more water color like.
Here in her favorite dress-up outfit, my daughter shines!

I call it: "Boy and his dog" 1982

This is an old shot from a black and white 35MM of a
friend and his Doberman down at the lake one fine summer day.
Certainly doesn't look like a scary dog here. More like a situation of desired security of his master.
I just think this one turned out to be 'bang on the dot.'

Created by my brother and his wife before her early passing last year.

Rainbow WOW!

             "My Boy"

I like this one very much because it seems to be a great
example of composition against the rules.

Even though the subject's eyes, body direction and his attention is
directed out side of the viewable area with his back to the center of the frame,
it still brings the eye back in and around the picture.

Not to mention my enjoyment of using contrast and graphic adjustments to create more of an art-ed photograph.
Hey, with the kind of programs we have it's relatively easy to make a picture that has that Wow factor.

Rainbow Ceazer

Now here is a fish with a wow factor for sure!

This fellow was purchased on March 15, 2008. We took him home measuring around 4 inches long with a smooth head from nose to back. I named him 'Ceazer'. My daughter added 'Rainbow' for obvious reasons. This picture was taken in early May 2009. Just as a point of reference, his trialling dorsal fin is over 4 inches alone. Amazing how fast and big he has grown in just over a year! He is a stunning fish with an attitude for demanding food. He bangs the lid when he is hungry.

As he grows, well, I'm not quite sure, BUT...
doesn't it look like he is growing Chinese writing on his side?
If anyone can read it please let me know what it means.
