Philosophy and Cool Quotes
May the most you wish for be the least you get.......
but be really careful what you wish for!

I learned allot about the wow factor from Michael Neill who is a master of something called Neuro Linguistic Programming or NLP.
This is simply the way in which the human brain operates. He is a "Life Coach" and blends a variety of common sense things together. A very refreshing break from the Godly-guru approach that leaves me feeling that no matter how much I try, I am just never going to be as good as that.  He has a way of educating you without setting some hard to follow example. He is more like a friend who knows allot that I want to know. I am never inspired to be like him or aspire to some level he has acquired. Heck, thats just saying that I lack or you are any better. Nothing needs fixing. A fresh perspective on the other hand, such as how Michael comes across, you learn a whole lot. Michael teaches how to get what you want with ease.

I have read many of his books, have listened to his audio tapes and shows many times over. I highly recommend any and all of his works to anyone who wishes to enjoy this incredible miracle we have all been blessed with called life!

To quote him, "Wouldn't it be a bummer if you had a really wonderful life....... but didn't know it!"

Good Good stuff!
He'll open your eyes and teach you how to allow yourself to have a life that makes you say "WOW!"

Michael had read a Marianne Williamson piece on one of his
Hay House Radio show broadcasts that just floored me.
It is certainly of Wow quality!
Enjoy.....
Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us.
We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous,
talented, fabulous?
Actually, who are you not to be?
You are a child of God.
Your playing small does not serve the world.
There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other
people won’t feel insecure around you.
We are all meant to shine, as children do.
We are born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us.
It is not just in some of us; it is in everyone.
And as we let our light shine, we unconsciously give
other people permission to do the same.
As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence
automatically liberates others.

Some of my absolute favorite quotes from Michael are:

"The most important choice you make
IS WHAT YOU CHOOSE TO MAKE IMPORTANT!"

and

"What would your life look like after a while,
if every thing you did,
you acted as if it was the most important and only thing
in the world to do at that moment?"

Others I like:

Maybe a life is to a soul as a dream is to a life.

OK, so this one may be a bit deep for most. Maybe best suited for a deep discussion around a camp fire with a stiff buzz.
And yes, I wrote it myself. "Wow, isn't that cool!?"

Happiness is something you decide, not some thing caused by what you get.
When you decide to be happy about what is, regardless of what you have or want, the things that  you want become easier to get.

The things you really want never show up in the package you expected.

"Still better than a finger in the eye, ain't they?"

(Can anyone guess where this quote is from?)

It's supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!

Go ahead and spell check it.                    Thats my answer and I'm sticking to it.

Philosophy made simple:

"What ever the thinker thinks, the prover proves"

One of the most common things that plague people is that they think something is wrong or they need to change. This is a fundamental mistake that feeds on itself. You only get more of what you think about.

It is a common practice to ask yourself rhetorical questions that SHOULD be answered. For example: "Why do I always _______!?" or "Why does this always happen to me!?" Well, answer it already! When you do, you will begin to find out things about yourself and your situation that you never knew unless you begin to finish what you started.

The most powerful way to get unstuck from something you do not want is to simply ask all of the questions about it in different senarios. This will begin a process of reshaping your minds way of regarding it and your intention is then able to shift as you begin to understand that the possibilities are more real than you thought.

All we have is this very moment. That's essentially it! Going forward, if you understand that you are not lacking, broken or otherwise in need of fixing, you can create anything you want with the intention to do so. Give it some time, don't hold on to tight and anything can grow if you allow it to!

Life is like driving a car, if you look in the rear view mirror too long, you begin to think that is where you are going. I can guarantee you will eventually crash. Look forward. There is nothing you can do about what is behind you. You may only be able to see 20 to 100 feet ahead but if you know the destination, you WILL get there. That is simple intention. Pick a destination or you will just drive around lost.

Don't question anyone but yourself.
More importantly, answer the questions. To become an expert on you, become a scientist and chart all the possibilities.
I guarantee that if you do, you will at some point in the process say "WOW, That's cool!"
